The International Swimming Hall of Fame (ISHOF) was established in 1964 as a not-for-profit educational corporation whose mission is to inspire and educate the general public aout the importance of swimming as a key to water safety, drowning prevention, fitness, good health and an enhanced quality of life.
Since the museum opened in 1968, millions of visitors have turned their vacations into an educated realization as to their personal, individual and collective need for better swimming in our society. This broad educational function, stressing the importance of swimming and stimulating interest in swimming through its history is the unique objective of this Hall of Fame.
To celebrate ISHOF's 50th Anniversary, we have partnered with BowTie Cause to create a design that incorporates ISHOF's famous "swimmer" icon into an artistic metaphor for ISHOF's vision of every person in the world being a swimmer.
